Schofield Elementary 4th Grade Regions (States) Fair

One of Katie's major school projects this year was for the Regions Fair. Each student in fourth grade is assigned a state, and is required to prepare a written report, project poster board, and independent project on said state. Katie drew Minnesota. Among the interesting facts she learned was that Minnesota has four seasons - early winter, winter, late winter, and road construction. And that pro-wrestlers can become governors of states.

Below are pictures of the Fair, with parents in attendance. Katie was dressed as a Minnesota viking. For her project she created a landscape of a Minnesota outdoor scene, with depictions of state animals, including loons.
