The new EPFL Center for Neuroprosthetics is conducting a two day seminar "grand opening seminar" on February 25-26, 2009 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
And for those of you on the other side of the pond, this month's IEEE-EMB Boston seminar on February 25 discusses neural prosthetics for rehabilitation of motor function.

Paul, Whitney, Katherine (Katie), and Nicholas Pyzowski currently live in Massachusetts, just west of Boston. We have previously lived in Switzerland, Japan, and Pittsburgh. Katie was born in May 1999 while we were living in Switzerland, and Nicholas was born in March 2002 in Massachusetts. Paul was raised in Washington, Pennsylvania, USA. His parents and younger brother Tom still live there. Whitney was raised near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but her parents now live in Wellfleet, Massachusetts where they own and operate the Oyster Cove Bed and Breakfast. Paul and Whitney both graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University. Paul graduated in electrical engineering department in 1988; he is also an alumnus of Sigma Tau Gamma's Delta Xi Chapter. Whitney was an industrial management major, and was a member of Delta Delta Delta's Alpha Tau Chapter. Paul also received his MBA from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
