The goings-on in the lives of Paul, Whitney, Katie, and Nicholas Pyzowski. The primary audience for this journal is our extended family and friends, although Paul sometimes posts items related to his professional and community life. We had 45 minutes before a meeting in Basel, Switzerland to catch a quick look at the public plaza around Elisabethenkirche.
Elisabethenkirche was the first new Protestant church to be built in Basel after the Reformation. 
This kinetic fountain was inspired by Dada-ist and Basel resident Jean Tinguely.

Paul, Whitney, Katherine (Katie), and Nicholas Pyzowski currently live in Massachusetts, just west of Boston. We have previously lived in Switzerland, Japan, and Pittsburgh. Katie was born in May 1999 while we were living in Switzerland, and Nicholas was born in March 2002 in Massachusetts. Paul was raised in Washington, Pennsylvania, USA. His parents and younger brother Tom still live there. Whitney was raised near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but her parents now live in Wellfleet, Massachusetts where they own and operate the Oyster Cove Bed and Breakfast. Paul and Whitney both graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University. Paul graduated in electrical engineering department in 1988; he is also an alumnus of Sigma Tau Gamma's Delta Xi Chapter. Whitney was an industrial management major, and was a member of Delta Delta Delta's Alpha Tau Chapter. Paul also received his MBA from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.
