Presidents' Day Weekend

In Massachusetts, Presidents' Day Weekend is also the start of a week long winter break for the public schools. Whitney will be taking the kids to visit her parents house later this week.

Saturday included Katie selling Girl Scout cookies, Nicholas going to Taw Kwon Do classes, and skating at the neighbors house.



On Sunday, Paul took the children to the American Association for the Advancement of Science Annual Meeting, being held in Boston this year. The meeting included a special family exhibit with displays from organizations including the American Society of Plant Biologists - where the kids potted spinach seeds, the Harvard Museum of Natural History, Science Club for Girls, and Carnegie Mellon's Women Computer Science Outreach Roadshow. The CMU show was a hit with the kids - not because both Paul and Whitney and alumni, but because the kids could pet an AIBO.
